Brand kit
Logos, colours and type for anything that carries Maskani Yetu: print, business cards, signage and screens. Maskani yetu is Swahili for “our home”, so everything we make should feel as dependable as one.
Logo
A magnifier finding a home: the pin marks the place, the buildings are what you find there. Use the files as they are: don’t redraw, stretch, recolour, rotate or add effects to them.

The mark files are vectors and scale to any size. The name is set in Figtree SemiBold; the PNG lockups are 2× resolution with transparent backgrounds.

On busy photos or patterned fabric, place the logo on a solid white or Maskani Blue panel rather than straight on the image.
Colour
Blue carries the brand; orange points at what matters. Keep orange to one or two touches per piece. Select a colour to copy its hex code.

CMYK values are converted from screen colour. Fabric, ceramics and paper all shift colour, so ask the printer for a physical proof and match it against Maskani Blue on screen before a full run. White text on Yetu Orange is hard to read; use Ink on orange instead.

Free and open source. Download it from Google Fonts. If it isn’t available, use Arial.

Two words, both capitalised, in sentences and headings.
